‘I need to do this dissertation’ is the first call of the students, but they have to take care of many errors which take place while writing a dissertation. Some of them are mentioned below.
All abbreviations used in the text, tables and figures in the thesis papers are supposed to have explanation as full from at least the first time they are used.
It is recommended that the tables and figures should be numbered consecutively by chapter, especially when the thesis includes many of them as Figures 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 are those in Chapter I and 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 are those in Chapter IV. This allows inserting, removing and moving the figures in the body of the thesis papers affecting only the numbering of figures and tables in a single chapter.
Tables and figures should be submitted, preferably in the following page or in the text where first mentioned. The inclusion of a table or figure should not prevent the text continuity.
All Latin words (e.g. Sensu lato, ad libitum, Homo, sapiens) and abbreviations of the algebraic variables (e.g. x, y, W) and statistics (e.g. F, T, P) are written in italics. In the latter two cases, it is suggested to avoid confusing abbreviations in the text.
Numbers between zero and ten when indicated frequency (number of events), they are supposed to be spelled e.g. ‘nine mice, ‘five samples’, etc.
If your call is still ‘I need someone to do my dissertation’, then you must have the assistance from commercial writing services.
